Moose Rack Quotes from October 2010!
These are quotes from the Moose Rack, official newsletter of the Moose Lodge of Wyoming, MI. Issues available at the Lodge.

Lodge Pig Roast & MI vs MI State Party
October 9th is the lodge pig roast and MI. vs. MI. State party. The pig roast will be from 1:00-3:00pm at the lodge. Served with potato salad, baked beans & chips. Sorry, absolutely no take out containers!! The game party will follow with 50/50’s and more. It is sure to be a great time so come on down!! All 7 TV’s will be on the game!!
Thanksgiving Dinner
We need help for Thanksgiving dinner, if there is going to be one. Some of the people from crews past have moved or can’t help this year. We need 4or 5 volunteers to come forward or we won’t be able to host it this year. Please see Mary or Denny if you can help. It is a lot of hard work, but well worth the effort!!
Keep Our Parking Lot Clean
We know the smokers are not happy with Michigan’s No Smoking Law. But it is just that, Michigan’s Law, not ours. We have an ample amount of ashtrays and butt cans. Everyone would like it if you would use them. We have had several complaints from smokers as well as non smokers. The parking lot as well as the smoking area look horrible. Please try to do your part.

Rules for Last Call at Closing
At last call the following are the rules:
No more money into the pool tables, finish your game and your done. You will cash out on the Nudgemasters. The bartenders only have so much time to get out of the lodge before the alarms go off. You MUST BE OUT OF THE BUILDING 1/2 HOUR AFTER LAST CALL!! Failure to do so could interrupt your social quarter privileges!!
Lodge #763 Rocks!!!
At this year's mid-year confention we received some very prestigious awards!! We were the #1 lodge in the state for the Endowment Fund. We were named Lodge of the Year by the state. Last but not least, Dennis Noel was awarded the admirable award of ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR!! SALUTE!!!

Thank You!
Thank You to the volunteers who came and helped with with Dinners and Build-A-Burgers. A special thank you to Valerie Crowley and Susan Jenison who who joined us for the first time. And last, but not least, thank you to the men who assisted with all those heavy hot pans from the ovens: Jim Dane, Ed Thomas, Jim VanderLugth - and our mysterdy man (I seen you - talked to you) BUT what is your name!

Moose Ride For Charity 2010
The Moose Riders once again had a great ride. They raised a substantial amount of money for their charity and I think everyone had a great time. It turned out to be a beautiful day, and a lot of people showed up to help and enjoy themselves.
Hopefully next year will be even better!!
The winner of the quad was Glenn VanStee
